Though crafted from primarily Prismacolor and Caran d'Ache colored pencils, these drawings are often mistaken for paintings due to a drawing technique known as burnishing. The use of this type of blending results in an overall smoother completed work that is unlike basic pencil layering styles which appear more sketchy.
